I felt as though maybe the front desk staff were slightly rude when my card was declining. It’s already embarrassing enough because I knew I obviously had money. However, it was an issue with the numbers on their end. After that, they were apologetic and kind. The service was good, good breakfast and the room was exceptionally clean.

We planned a trip to Mackinaw Island the hotel was within Walking distance to ferry and had restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were very clean and quiet.

Clean room close to downtown
The location was our reason for staying at the Baymont - close to downtown. The accommodations were fine. Beds were clean and plenty of linens. The toilet is a low-rider so be prepared for that. Call me an old guy but I prefer a bar of soap to the young folk's body wash. I'll be bringing my own soap next time.

The hotel was clean. The tv was a 32” with poor reception and kept turning off. Requested clean towels using the door tag and didn’t receive any.
