1 Star People in a 3 Star Hotel
The staff was very courteous, polite, and seemed to care about the guests. Hotel was clean and what you'd expect out of a 3 star establishment. We elected a 2nd floor room because we have a toddler, and didn't want the pitter patter of little feet to disturb guests below. Ironically, the guests in the room above us were what you'd call 1 star people in a 3 star hotel. Loud, rude, heavy footed and crazy. After 10pm, two calls were made to the front desk for the staff to rectify the problem. They did in short order. In summary, Hampton Inn Macomb wasnt a bad place to stay, but if you are asked a room preference, take the top floor if you want to sleep.

The welcome was super friendly and professional. Great experience checking in. The room had a funky smell. Not off putting enough to move, but just a little odd. Bedding was on the older side too. Last note, the water had a strange taste. Thanks maybe specific to the area and not the hotel. Just a note. Overall for the price and convenience, it's a good option. Service was terrific.

Not bad for a quick over night stay.
Hotel seemed clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay. There was an assortment of food but the apple juice tasted watered down. We were on the 4th floor. Every time we walked around our room it sound like we were stomping on the floors. I really hope we didn't bother those below us.

Standard well maintained Hampton Inn. Desk clerk was helpful and the Hotel had one of the nicest pools I have seen in a while which I unfortunately did not get a chance to use (the clerk said it was a salt water pool which did appear to be true!). Typical but adequate hotel breakfast.
