This property was conveniently located just off our route on I-94. The price was reasonable and they advertised a free full breakfast. It could have been cleaner but not bad. Other than being a bit noisy since our ground floor room was located near the front lobby, this was a nice place to stay. The shower was especially excellent delivering a robust, rousing spray - no piddly trickle here!

We stayed on a Holiday weekend so the rate was higher. The place is an okay option but is an aging property, and feel the price was much more than I would pay again with so many other options close by. We didn't have any issues and were able to check in early.

The room was very nice. Unfortunately our toilet leaked which I reported on Saturday morning at 10am. It started leaking worse by noon so we called the front desk to have maintenance fix it. We left at 530pm and there had been no resolution to our leaking toilet. Every time we flushed the toilet, the water shot out of the top of the tank and dripped onto the floor. This necessitated wearing shoes at all times into the bathroom. When we returned at 1130 pm there was a card taped onto our TV telling us that maintenance had fixed the toilet.

We searched for a hotel with a pool and then got here and the pool was closed for “scheduled maintenance” on a Saturday. We asked to transfer to a different best western but they couldn’t because we booked through a third party. We had plans with family to hang out and swim.

I called when I realized my event was running well past 11pm. When I called to ask if I could check in later she said “I don’t know, I’m new” which made me leave my event at 10:30pm. Doors were locked so I knocked and just made it with minutes to spare. The refrigerator was so dang loud I couldn’t sleep, but I didn’t bother calling with only one new person working.

Our check in went well. When I was looking for our room I took a staircase that smelt like old garbage but our room was clean. The hotel itself is older which could be seen all around, patchwork on walls and especially in the pool and hot tub. The pool was too cold for me and the hot tub had very few working spouts, not very inviting. We only went once and normally would have gone a couple times. We got fresh towels for our second day, which was all we asked for and the lady was very polite.
