Love this hotel. Staff was great and hotel is very nice with the perfect location for Madison. Gave a few less stars because our room smelled a little like cigarette smoke.

Hotel clerk “upgraded” us to a better room, she said upon check in. The room was some kind of a separate living area that was not well designed and basically was an uncomfortable room that was much different than we reserved.

I arrived at the hotel early to meet some friends for brunch before check-in. I understood that my room may not be ready yet, But since it was valet parking, I would’ve had to leave my luggage which included my work computer with the parking attendants until my room was ready, Which made me a little uneasy. The valet that was helping get my car situated with the front desk and asked if my room was available yet and it was four hours early. I appreciated him checking and the front desk letting me check in early without any prior notice to put my mind at ease.
