Anniversary ruined
The shower handle spins in circles and isn't even hooked up to the mixing valve, so there's NO SHOWER! I was very disappointed when I tried to get someone to respond. There was no staff on site, and they responded after we checked out, saying sorry but no refund. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

The entire room was clean. Towels and wash cloths provide were in place. The room was nicely appointed. The hall ways were clean. Signage was well placed and clearly understood.

Can’t beat the location!
About as in the heart of Madison as you can get at a great price! Saw most of the local sites on foot! The lack of human contact takes some getting used to, but I had no reportable issues. Well, except the air conditioner had an annoying high pitched whine but it was cool enough to turn off at night.

It’s great if all goes well; fun location etc. but if there’s issues there’s no one around and no one to communicate with. It was challenging to check in and confirm our room number and then once we got in our room its hot and stuffy and the super cool fan/ac doesn’t work and no one is available to talk to/problem solve with. A bummer to be sure.

Too expensive for the conditions provided: more than 300 CAD per night for Sep 8 - 11 weekend. One of the bed sheets was previously used and it was not changed. We had to sleep without covering bed sheet and to ask to be changed the next day. The breakfast was not free as advertised. They had just coffee and pastries and you could have breakfast (eggs, pancakes) for a charge. Noisy at night - 12.30 am noise in the room above. No reception - no phone number provided (just email). You cannot contact anybody if there are problems.

A horrible experience at all ends, for which they refuse any kind of a refund. The room smelled when we arrived, and further inspection revealed the bedsheets had not been changed (dirt, filled with giant hairs, creased from the previous night's bodies). The property was impossible to contact, for over 24 hours, meaning they couldn't put it right and we had to book elsewhere. Even Expedia found it difficult to get in touch with them! Give the Madison Marquette so-called Hotel a WIDE BERTH.

This is an easy and comfortable place to stay at a great price. Had everything I needed and I loved the free coffee at the cafe the next morning. Cute place to sit, sip and get work done or chat. Would stay again.
