I like the rooms and the ambiance of a small hotel but with solid and modern style furnitures. It was difficult to order something to the room, as the menu are digital only and I could not download the app, I went down to the bar, but nobody was around I left the bar and ask the front desk for room service Menu, but I referred back to download the app., or go to the bar which had no service, I felt like in an Louis de Funes movie 🎥 however then someone was ordered to help and all good 👍 but it took me as a customer line 20 minutes… Have printed menus in the room, please

Hands down the best hotel in Madrid. Superb service. I could spend hours writing accolades, from the second we walked in, to the everyday interactions with the staff, from the doormen, to the front desk staff, to the housekeepers, the Barcelo Empetatriz is EVERYTHING a 5-star hotel should strive for. Bravo!

Great location near transport links short walk to attractions like Prado museum, san Miguel market and the Santiago Bernabéu. Good choice of restaurants near. Good views over the city from the roof terrace Friendly staff very welcoming.

The service at the hotel was extremely poor. I was often times just starred at and ignored during my entire stay. They only treated a certain demographic with respect and care. When i complained to the staff how rude they were all they did was give me a free beverage for my inconvenience. The only nice person was the bartender from Venezuela.
