Don't stay here!
It's an OK hotel if you're on a short business trip,but not for a family stay. The room is small, shower is not a very functional design, bathroom door doesn't have a lock. The front desk staff always have a poker face and generally ignore you unless you ask them. My son forgot his airpods in the room, and when I called the frontdesk to send them to me by courier (I told them I would pay for it), they refused to help. He asked me to come and get it, not sire what he was thinking.

Lovely hotel close to Retiro Park
We had a great stay at Crowne Plaza (twice). It's in an excellent location very close to the metro at Sainz de Baranda and the the Circular (grey) Network. Also, within easy walking distance to Retiro Park. There are cafes, restaurants and shops close by and it is an easy walk to Calle Ibiza. Staff were very good and accommodating. The hotel (part of IHG chain) is eco-friendly and has a partnership with a Hospital for Children.

The room was quiet even though located near a hospital. The staff were the greatest. They told me how to navigate around Madrid without a taxi. They greeted me with my worn knapsack when I first arrived just as warmly as the ladies with the Louis Vitton luggage. I recommend this hotel and commend its staff. I remember Tamara …and how sweet she was.

Este hotel fue una sorpresa. Lo saqué y después de haberlo pagado me arrepentí ya que está lejos del centro, pero en la misma puerta del hotel tienen una parada de buses y cerca la estación de metro. La habitación era amplia con un clóset grande y el baño también la cama súper cómoda descansamos muy bien ya que no habían los típicos ruidos del centro. Te ponían incluido diario agua excelente café chocolates y galletitas los cuales extraño a cada mañana!!!

High volume hotel. Good option for a short stay. Breakfast is extra and quite good. Bathroom flooring wasn't quite clean. Location is quiet near Retiro Park and ordinary apartment buildings. Close to city Center.
