This hotel is not a 4 starts because the room we staying the firsts night was really small and rundown the next day they moved us to a different room and it was better than the other room but still not a 4 starts and my wife felt pressure from hotel to fix her reviewed she wrote the day before ok

Well located next to metro, Staff is great - we had a problem with the room when we checked in and was resolved immediately. The room was nice, clean and spacious. Definitely would stay here again

clean room, comfortable bed, large bathroom and shower Improve - better description of distance to major sights. The location was not as close to key areas we wanted to visit - we thought we could walk everywhere but took taxis to many places, e.g., Plaza de Mejor, Plaza del Sol, Royal Palace, Prado Museum, or we would have been too tired to do the tours/sightseeing. The scheduled bus routes took time away from sightseeing, that's why we opted for taxi. Improve - The front desk check-in, check-out, and daily interactions were not very cordial - would expect more conversation with and interest in visitors; lacked enthusiasm. Did not feel welcomed. The server for dinner in restaurant was enthusiastic and did an excellent job - the restaurant/bar staff worked together well. Taxis were easy to find - across street from hotel. Felt safe but not many restaurants close by.

The stay was perfect. Very comfortable. The room service and the paid breakfast were delicious and quite economical. The staff was very hospitable and polite. The only complain is that there were not enough sunbathing chairs at the pool. They were taken all day and there was nowhere else to lay down so we were not able to use the pool.

This was my fourth time here, so that in itself says something. Staff was, as always, extremely helpful - even when this time I arrived much earlier than checkin time due to an early flight. The location, too is splendid, the Line6 metro station is right next to it (a 15 second walk), which connects to myriad other lines and stations. Clientele seems to be nice, because this is one of the very few hotels where every time I could sleep 2-3 nights without earplugs...
