Hotel is old but room was renovated. Bedroom is very good. Shower stall in bathroom is tight. I am 5’2” with a small frame and I still found the shower area small. Room is non-smoking, but smelled like cigarette when we checked in. Hotel is on Grand Via which is a very busy street with lots of tourists and shoppers.

Loved the staff. Doina who cleaned our room was very friendly and efficient. Great location close to everything. A small issue with noise traveling between rooms. Overall excellent stay!

Nice and comfortable hotel, if you like to be in the central spot. Downsides include noisy and a bit dirty surroundings. Hotel is undergoing upgrade, if you get a worn-out room, ask for a different one. This worked for me perfectly and got clean, fresh room that was just perfect.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Madrid where you can walk to some major attractions; however, since it’s an older hotel the walls are thin and you hear everything from doors closing, to people talk next door, etc…
