Room was ok and staff helpful and friendly. To get to the airport it will take you 30 minutes walking or 20 with the subway or 7 with a 20 Euro taxi. It’s a fair option if like us you are staying just to catch you flight in the morning.

The major dislike was that the Ac was not working in the 2 rooms we booked, the heat was on and impossible to switch to the Ac (it was cool outside). We had to open up the windows and slept with a lot of noise.

There wasn’t really anything unique about this hotel. The layout is similar to other IBIS hotels I’ve stayed at. There was a very friendly waitress who served my husband and me dinner. One thing I was very disappointed about was that I asked the young lady at the desk to arrange a 4:00 a.m. wake-up call and it never came through. We had a 6:00 a.m. flight and it was a good thing I happened to wake up at 3:30. We could have missed our flight if we had slept in.

This hotel was a very good option to take a flight out of MAD. It is close to the airport,it has restaurants nearby within walking distance,it’s comfortable and clean. The hotel also offers a very good breakfast at extra charge. I definitely recommend it!

The staff were excellent only downside was 1 hour for free shuttle bus that apparently they stopped running years ago but still listed at Airport with a phone number that doesn’t work.
