Fix the lifts, PLEASE!!!!!
We were aware there was work being done to refurbish the hotel but I didn’t realise the scale. there was work being done all through the hotel not just outside or in the reception. Our top floor suite had been refurbished and was lovely. The lifts were a real problem, often just 1 lift to service 14 floors- at breakfast this was a nightmare for everyone trying to go up or down.

Very disappointing. We stayed there earlier this year, room was much better (corner room) and cheaper. I requested similar room at check in, but was given a plain looking, standard room! I was very upset, especially considering the amount I paid. Good staff though, Hassan was very friendly

I really want to give a 5 star rating because it is a great building with an excellent staff. Problems cause me to instead award four stars. There was some sort of construction going on, the elevators were problematic and the AC was poor.

We had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and provided information about the main attractions in Madrid. The hotel is located at a walking distance from the Royal Palace and othe attractions. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much and would highly recommend it.
