"Perfect in so many ways. The location was enchanting. Cockatoos, wallabies, bush stone curlews, parrots all viewed from the front deck while having morning coffee. The bikes were such a special convenience to explore around Nelly Bay and even Arcadia and Picnic Bay if you don’t mind the hills. The kitchen was great, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was so nice after a long hiking day. A hiking trail to Horseshoe Bay and Fort Junction starts right down the street from the house, and a bus stop is a 3 min walk. Great access to everything you want to do on the island including the market. We did all the hikes, saw 2 koalas on the Fort Walk, spent a day relaxing at Arthurs Bay and we still weren’t ready to go home. A real gem. Yes, some bugs to be expected, but we expected that."
