Dusit Thani was a bucket list when I was penniless in the 90’s. I used to look up and promised myself I will be able to afford it one day. My kids and I (separate bookings) stayed there this year and two generations have agreed that it is one of the best hotels in Makati when you talk about safety; accessibility (to International airport; transportation; shopping; etc). staff service; and overall amenities. Thank you for staying at the top of your game all these years. If there is one that I could suggest; it is on the overall fragrance of the hotel. It is nice but it gets obnoxious especially to those who are sensitive to smells- it would be nice if we are able to control the smell in the room. Otherwise, I am looking forward to more stays each time I am in the city or visiting the islands again

Building is showing its age. Musty smell not only in my unit but also in common area, particularly in the mezzanine. Decor is too dark for my comfort. The reflection of light on dark floor is dizzying. Could use more seating area and more chairs. Live entertainment would be a nice change to the prerecorded piano music.The staff is friendly and accommodating and buffet selection was OK

I am giving 5 stars because the service is amazing but... I didn’t think they honor my Expedia gold membership and front desk didnt present perks of having VIP access. The room they gave me is in 421 where theres only one location for the switch of the bathroom and masters bedroom. It didn’t feel like I stayed in a 5 star hotek tbh. Bathroom floor is old. No separation from thr shower and the toilet bowl so when you shower, thrres a possibility youd wet the floor around the toilet. Breakfast was great! Many food selections. Front desk didnt really give me a lot information. Gave me the keys and that’s it. I got used to receptionist giving me a paper where the amenities are. Instructions and time where the gym and pool is. Would I go back to Dusit Thani? Yes of course but if you’d put me again in 421, I would be mad. Lol.

Superior quality accommodations. Highest class facility and staff, and the pool is wonderful. Could have made shorter check-in and check-out lines by having more staff at the unopen reception counter stations during rush hours. Other than that nitpicking, this was a fantastic stay.

Luxurious Stay with a Hidden Gem

Dusit Tahini is a truly beautiful and luxurious hotel. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options to start the day, and they have great fine dining restaurants for dinner. The hotel even had a violinist playing in the lobby, adding an elegant touch to the atmosphere. To celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, they surprised us by sending up a delicious chocolate mousse to the room. The spa is a bit pricey, but the gym facility is top-notch. I also stumbled upon a secret garden with a koi pond just outside the other side of the lobby, which was a magical spot. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway!
