Beautiful property in the historical district. Pretty much everything is just out the door. It’s attached to a historical church which makes it very nostalgic. Loved the modern and clean feel. Thumbs up for this property.

Outstanding suite with windows and balcony. Walking distance to good restaurants. It’s on a very busy pedestrian mall loaded with large groups of cruise ship passengers. Lots of street noise but nothing I couldn’t sleep through.

we had such a great experience staying at Casa de la Merced Suites! the host was a wonderful lady, very kind, helpful and responsive. She replied our message even it was quite late closing to the midnight. the area is so walkable to all the tourist attractions, they have soft drink, snack, coffee and fruits in the lobby. this is a highly recommended place to stay if you visit Malaga. The parking is a bit off the site in a large parking garage nearby, about 5 minutes walk.

Misrepresented room
The room was listed as a two bed room, but there was only one bed and they said nothing else was available. We had to cancel 2 out of 3 nights with no refund. Hotels.com, Expedia and the hotel are not taking any responsibility for their error. By the time the hotel said they had another room, still only one bed and a pull out sofa, we had already booked our last 2 nights at another place.

Awesome place. The unit was large. Free fruits in the lobby. Communication was excellent. Front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Location can’t be beat. Close to grocery stores, Picasso Museum, Picasso statue, historical churches and other buildings, and souvenir shopping. Wonderful place to stay!!!

What a find! Loved our 1 bed apartment, which was actually a mezzanine bedroom upstairs with an ensuite shower room. There was a sofa bed in the living area , kitchenette and another lovely downstairs shower room. The apartment was bigger than we expected due to the mezzanine floor and worked well for me, my daughter, and her friend. We hadn’t seen online that there were 2 bathrooms, which was a great surprise and bonus. The building is historic with 18 modern apartments inside. The location is fantastic , just a 2 minute walk to the Picasso museum, all the lovely bars and restaurants. There is a public underground car park just a 2 minute walk too. There were nice touches such as toiletries, different teas in the apartment and a little mini bar area in the reception area downstairs to get free tea, coffee, sweet snacks and drinking water. We wanted to check in after hours and were able to do this by sending them our ID documents. They then sent us the building access code and we collected our key from a desk. The apartment was a fabulous find and I will absolutely stay here again.

This was a hidden gem, For the price, I feel this is a genuine steal. The complimentary drinks and snacks make it even more special. The staff are quite friendly and help keep our luggage for us too

It was a nice place, with a clean and modern room. During our four nights stay, it was cleaned only once. The front desk receptionist had significantly limited hours, and during those hours that they were available, they were both unfriendly and unhelpful.

Great location But giving overall 2 star as there was a lack of communication about several things First our arrival. The email prior stated we are back in the office from 3-6pm so we thought arrival would be fine. We arrived at 4pm no way to get in until a guest opened the door. We walked in and our key was on the desk. Then I gave my mother who is elderly the bed and chose to sleep on the sofa bed. There were no sheets in the room. I had to request some the next day. Also if you are a light sleeper Do Not stay here. Every night it was loud and noisy till morning no kidding. The last night there were guys screaming at each other in a drunken rage outside at 5am! I would not recommend.
