Our second visit. Still looks like it has just opened. It’s in a great location and the room, although small, makes good use of the space for those with young children. The problem is that it can be noisy. The walls are paper thin, meaning you hear the guests next door if they’re particularly noisy. And even if they’re not, you can hear every time they use the bathroom. Avoid the ground floor, it can get quite noisy outside as the area has many restaurants and bars open until late. Generally, the location is good as you’re close to the historic centre, port and beach. The staff are excellent and very friendly, even at midnight and dealing with noisy guests.

The room was nice and clean however for a family of four it was somewhat tight with the luggages. The bathroom was a good size , we were on the first floor and we the window was next to a main Street and therefore was a little noisy sometimes in the morning and night overall was a nice stay

What an amazing hotel experience that made me fall in love with Malaga! So nice I wanted to rebook a second trip back next July but the hotel fees aren’t available until a few months later 😂 Only thing I would suggest is the bunk bed corners should be rounded off, my father almost banged his head on the corner. I also didn't realize that my room window would face the indoor corridor area rather than the street, although the issue is minor as the whole hotel is very well-lit it could be mentioned in the hotel room description. All in all, I had a great time. Thank you!

We had a brilliant stay at the Icon Malabar. The staff were so friendly and the facilities were great - especially the water with the mint and orange in at Reception. As a location it was great for being close to all Malaga has to offer but just set back enough to avoid the worst of the hustle and bustle. There were also some really good dining choices nearby, with Santa Coffee also a great spot. Can highly recommend the buffet breakfast which was a top way to start the day.

Hotel is in a great location in the Soho area which is only a short walk from the old town and harbour. Only a 5 minute walk to the train station with direct links to the airport. Hotel staff were very pleasant and room size good clean and bright. Supermarket and restaurants close by.

Wonderful stay in Malagà
Perfect location for us! Easy walk to the cathedral and excellent food. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options. I loved the rolls with peanut butter and chocolate. The meat selection and the fruit was also great. Our room has multiple balconies. They were very tiny but allowed a wonderful cross breeze. The bathroom was very spacious by European standards I felt. The decor was very nice.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel during our most recent trip to Malaga. This hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was great. The hotel was very clean and in a great location close to many restaurants and shopping. Would definitely come back here
