Mariposa Hotel is located in walking distance to all restaurants, shopping and sites. The location is awesome, while it is on a nice, quiet street. Parking is located one street over, a large parking garage which is quite expensive, even with the Mariposa hotel discount. The hotel is in good condition, clean, but very dated. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this is not the place for you. Breakfast was decent, with breads, cheeses, meats, fruits, cakes, and two hot items. Staff were nice. If location is important to you, this is 10/10, but be prepared for a very dated hotel.

Great location and stylish boutique hotel
Soho area so street art is so cool to find. You can find restaurants easily. The rooms were new and comfortable. Rooftop bar was cute. Bath was great after long day. Short walk to central Malaga.

This is a wonderful hotel. It seems to improve each time I have stayed there which is remarkable given that it was always good. The customer service is outstanding - friendly faces everywhere. The location is perfect not least for the proximity to El Rincon del Cervecero. The roof top terrace and the breakfast room are tranquil and inviting. Well done everyone! The only downside is a new system for using the TV which is challenging for an old technophobe like me.

I have no idea how the hotel Mariposa has 4 stars. So dated, the bedrooms have an old smelly carpet and old bathrooms. The whole hotels needs updating and renovation badly. The location is fine. Too expensive for what it really is.
