Stayed here whilst on business in the area. Hotel was clean and bar area nice. I did get an allergy from a dog in there which wasn’t ideal but it is what it is. Highlight for me was the breakfast.

What a lovely find, booked last minute after getting caught in traffic on motorway. Staff were all amazing, free parking outside, comfortable bed, spacious ensuite shower room and the breakfast was incredible. Would highly recommend a stay here, very warm and welcoming

To be recommended.
Very clean room (8a) and what seemed to be a newly refurbed bathroom. Good selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Decent biscuits and even some sweets ! Good selection of beers in the bar and good food. the bar has a proper pub feel which is nice. Very good breakfast menu (included in my room) friendly service and best of all, a request that patrons don't use mobile phones in the breakfast room. I have stayed here before and will do so again. I suggest that you, dear reader, stay here too.

It was a well situated property with great friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was phenomenal, it came out hot, quickly and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I will be back very soon and stay a little longer too

Fabulous
A wonderful chilled out atmosphere and great location. Staff were excellent, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Room had very comfortable bed and very well equipped with lovely little touches like a bowl of sweets, umbrella, small fridge, iron, hairdryer, toiletries etc. and huge shower. Food menu was wonderful with gluten free and vegan options. Had a very tasty evening meal and amazing breakfast. The staff made you feel very welcome. Really loved my stay. Couldn’t fault it in any way.
