Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The outdoor area of the resort was fantastic, with amazing views, and our sandstone room had a cozy, homely feel. I was excited to see they had games for kids, but when we opened the Jenga set, it was disappointing to find inappropriate messages like ‘take off your shirt’ written on the pieces—it was clearly meant for some adult game. The glass doors and windows were full of fingerprints and stains, which took away from the overall cleanliness. It was really hot in the room, and the hard pillows made it difficult to get any sleep. Despite the lack of sleep, we still enjoyed our two-night stay, especially exploring Mammoth

Great customer service, the gentleman at the fron desk (sorry didn't get his name) was very nice and helpful, he showed us how to get around Mammoth. He took the time to explain on a map on how to get around on public transportation and new places to visit. We also got a very nice room upgrade! Will definitely stay there again.

That was our second stay at Juniper Springs Resort. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. Full kitchen is nice as easy to have meals in. Just be sure to take everything you may need (spices, etc) as only expendable items provided are coffee, paper towels and dishwashing soap.We extended our stay and the resort was able to nearly match the price we got on Expedia. Be aware there is a $25 resort fee that I didn't see when making the reservation. Fee covers nice pool, jacuzzi, work out room and parking.

I’ve stayed here the last three years and really enjoy it. We go in September and it is quiet and low-key. The rooms are nice and clean. The only downfall is that there is no air-conditioning. However, you can always open the window and use one of the provided fans to cool the room off. We will be back next year as well!

Would be great during winter, not summer.
The one bedroom condo was laid out well with a balcony on the raised (parking garage beneath) first level with view of trees. No AC. We thought that would not be an issue due to the temps being in the upper 60'd and low 30's at night. However it was!! Even with the window and door open all night the condo stayed very warm making it not comfortable most of the time.We also were told we had daily maid service but we never saw anyone. The lodge also booked rooms right on top of each other when they were clearly not at full capacity . Loud people above us and next door....spread people out please! No restaurant on site either. Very pretty area and very convenient in the winter to get on slopes or around town....just won't stay here during warm months.
