Hotel is on the main road into Mammoth which is convenient, but Motel 6s in general are poorly maintained, outdated and no-frills. No security deposit requirements invite a different class of individuals. They weren’t all scetchy, but just in general.
It was one of the lowest prices in town so I took a chance (knowing the track record).
The guest above our room must have not slept all night! I heard walking and shuffling around the room most of the night. Again, these hotels are cheaply constructed and the walls and ceilings are thin.
This is a sub-$90 hotel that charges too much for what it is.
This was a last-minute road trip, but knowing now, I would have paid $30-50 more and stayed somewhere else.
