Managua's best hostel
I can confirm that this hostel (unlike some other ones in Managua) is still open and operating! I stayed here in July 2021. The guys at the front desk are helpful. They can give you info about the other places where you might want to travel in Nicaragua.

Very friendly, great location, decent facilities. For a budget, it works great. Not the nicest, but the people more than make up for it! Will definitely be adding this to my Managua rotation of go-to places to stay.

The hostal failed to answer my request for their shuttle, so I was left to find my own ride to the hostal. Though I was getting a private Bathroom, but it was a shared Bathroom. Otherwise clean, and average rated.

Best hostel in Managua, hands down!
Don't look anywhere else if you're looking for nice hostel and you're on a budget, even if you're not on a budget I would recommend it anytime.

My wife and i stayed there overnight waiting for a flight. Wish we had stayed longer. Its surrounded by restaurants within a 2 block radius. There is a grocery store near by. The bus terminal is only a 15 - 20 minute walk, though we took a cab...it was a long day and raining.

More amenities than Nicaragua's cheapest hostels
This hostel includes some amenities that other hostels in Nicaragua don't offer. For example, the shared bathrooms have soap dispensers and paper towels. Free towel rental. There's also a pool and Netflix on the tv. There are two kitchens so you can buy food at the nearby supermarket and cook your dinner here. Shared bathrooms have cold water showers. The free breakfast is pancakes, coffee, and sometimes fruit.
