A lovely hotel ruined by terrible customer service. Checking in was terrible and slow, only one person on the desk at around 7pm with a HUGE queue of people waiting. The check in took so long it almost made us late to our event, so caused a lot of inconvenience and stress. Even when another guest complained about the lack of service and the wait time, the person on the desk (Mia, I think it was) barely even acknowledged the complaint and couldn’t have cared less when she finally appeared to support the other, only poor guy on the desk. Hotel in general and breakfast was good though. A potentially great hotel discredited by extremely poor check in. If you book here, make sure you have plenty of extra time to book in.

Facilities weren’t to me and my wife’s liking and there was numerous health and safety hazards found within our room and after reporting these things still no refund or any sort of adequate reimbursement or response the only good thing is the area and the general staff that I saw on my stay

Bad from get go
Started out with towel one and no wash cloths..the excuse we didnt run laundry cant leave the desk . Then finally brought towels. Or well sometimes we make mistakes..this what you want guests to experience..we used bath mat.. no excuses.. the offered a card for breakfast if you want room service my daughter had go give them the card and when the food was brought it was luke warm. Dinner we again ordered and we told we had t o pick up ourselves.as for late check out they gave us hour ..they stopped the room key and she had tell them i was up in the room she needed to get to me.. i have moblity issues..thats why inneded the extra time. This is my first time england...

Left a used and wet towel in the bathroom to be replaced and instead the morning after the same towel was folded put it back on the shelf!!!!! The plastic cover of the fob key in the room was broken and lights did not work properly. Asked to be repaired and nothing happened. They had to be reminded twice. No apology given
