the room itself was clean and spacious, the rest of the building was a bit dated and the area around the hotel is quite run-down, did not seem unsafe but probably would not book if i was with family etc. Hot breakfast, quiet rooms. reception asked for a deposit and copy of ID as deposit even though we had paid so took longer then expected.

The fact that you had to either walk up or down stairs to your room from the lift is baffling and god only knows what i would of done if i were in a wheel chair?

Unfortunately on the first night the fire alarm went off at 4am due to someone smoking in their room. Not ideal when on 12th floor and obviously can’t use lift. Had to stand outside for over an hour. Only when returning to room was I asked my name. Not ideal, female on own. However good breakfast and comfortable, hotel seemed to be full of like minded workers staying for a few days.

Firstly let me say, this is by far the best value for a stay in Manchester. Great if you are going just for work.....not so much if you are on a holiday with family. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and refurbished and breakfast was ok. However the hotel is oddly laid on top of a job centre and a community diabetes center. You have all sorts of people coming in and out. Does not feel like a hotel anywhere in except in your room. But th price reflects this. It is a place to use for work stays, nothing more.....

Very convenient and a bit unusual as it used to be an office block grest breakfast plenty of it the staff where very contentive roim was clean and tidy fluffy white towels would stay there again
