Initial impression was that the lobby and bar looked really inviting. Our room, on the other hand, looked small and its window just looked out to a space in between two buildings, so very little light and a view of grey concrete... It was a bit depressing as it was gorgeous outside! That said, when we did actually go to bed the room was so dark and comfy... Nice firm mattress and two plump pillows each, all with crisp bed linen.
Breakfast had a good selection, including shakshuka and a cauliflower, spinach and tofu hash, but there was a massive piece of egg shell in my poached egg, which really put me off. Just bad luck i guess. Would stay again but definitely not for a romantic break. It was functional but the (king) room was just too pokey for us.
