The only complaint would be during the morning the elevators were so jam packed that I had to take the stairs. I walked down 41 flights of stairs because had I waited for the elevator it would have been like an hour. They need to figure out a better system for the elevators because it just isn’t enough for the amount of people that stay there.

Excellent staff…extremely helpful and friendly while being helpful (cheerful). The room was small but comfortable and clean. And surprisingly, the nights were very quiet for being in the heart of NYC. I’m assuming they soundproofed this hotel quite well. The breakfast was the usual American pig-trough experience with everyone fighting for position to scrape some cold eggs onto a plastic plate and snatch-up some greasy sausage links before these culinary delights vanished in a flash. Then one had the choice of either roaming the “dining area” (and I use that term very loosely) for 10-15 minutes searching for an empty spot to share with too many strangers or wait an interminably long time for one of only 4 elevators servicing 45 floors to return to one’s room. There were two things that made the breakfast bearable - the green salad every morning and the pretty darn good coffee. For NYC, the price was right and the room was better than expected. Get used to using the stairwell more than you’d like if you stay here, and at least consider looking for something to eat outside the hotel in the morning (though you’ll be facing a filthy, noisy, overcrowded city, regardless). Again, it was really the staff that made the difference in this stay…they were genuinely nice people who made our stay better.

It was convenient because we wanted to be in Chelsea, close to the FIT U. What we didn't like was the undependable and slow elevator service. More than once we took the stairs. With 40 floors, 4 elevators set up the way they are is insufficient. Also the dining area was crowded and hectic. Young lady in attendance was rude. Front desk and cleaning crew were nice and efficient. Room was small but clean and comfortable.

This hotel is nothing like advertised, tiny rooms with no closet, or hangers in double rooms. We stayed three nights, the air conditioning wasn’t working, and they did nothing to fix it, or gave us the option to move to another room, after many requests. This is in August. Also, be prepared to wait half of your vacation waiting for the slowest elevators ever, with only two chairs in the lobby for everyone to wait for those. The only thing good about this hotel, is location.

The view was exceptional, the location was perfect, the breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. My only complaints would be the elevator traffic and that the ice machine was always empty. 10/10 would recommend this hotel.

Not so good for the price. Service not good. I was there early, so was told that check-in desk will message me (on my phone) when room is ready. I waited and i never got any msg from them, for check-in. Past the check-in time, i went back to desk and learnt that room is ready. I has to chase it down myself.

The lobby was very chaotic. I believe only one chair (which was always being used) and not a lot of space for people to line up for either the front desk or the elevator, which made it hard to distinguish. Elevators are either slow or not working. We were on floor 12, and multiple times we’d have to wait well over ten minutes for an elevator after pressing the call button. Many times, by the time an elevator did arrive on our floor, it would be full and we’d either have to press a button again or give up and walk down twelve floors. This was hard for my 75 year old mother who has mobility issues. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone until the elevator issues are fixed.

Great location
The spot was amazing however the room was extremely small after opening the sofa bed, there was no place for cloth or luggage’s and no place to move. Although morning breakfast was complimentary the elevators were horrible during that time.

Nice 2 night stay in NYC
The hotel is nicely located for the Chelsea area. It was very clean and the room was quiet for a NYC location. The room is very small, but do-able for a 2 night stay. Elevators in the morning were very busy and ended up walking down to the lobby twice. That said, it was perfectly fine for the price and the location.
