Great!

I had a very pleasant experience at the Adriatico Arms hotel!!! All staff are warm, friendly and attentive. My only gripe is they don't have an iron and ironing board which I expect from a regular hotel. I would definitely stay there again when I'm in Manila.

Very good hotel staff and accessibility

We have stayed in this hotel before and will always come back in future trips. The room is satisfactorily nice. The staffs are very courteous and accommodating. The location is not busy with traffic. Convenience store is just right across. Very satisfied with the price too.

Great location, but very aging amenities

My family & I stayed here for a night before flying back to the states. The building is old, but it was in decent condition for its age. The room was fairly good sized, Unfortunately, that's where the good things end. I was aware that there wasn't an elevator at this hotel and having a newborn & 2 yr old didn't make things easy to have to climb up to the 3rd floor. The beds were not very comfortable and you can tell they haven't been replaced in a long time. Also, the air-con was focused on just 1 are of the room. While 1 bed was freezing cold the other bed was still burning up hot.

Old but very OK. Nice location.

Looking for a budget stay, and this hotel is quite OK. A bit old and dated, but not outdated. Got a very spacious room in wnd floor. No elevator, so I was happy that I bring only a handcarry luggage and a backsack. TV a bit small, but channels was good. Big and spacious bathroom with OK towels. I stayed for two nights and even the location is close to the busy nightlife, It was quiet and relaxing. Walking distance to Robinsons and several restaurants. While I stayed there, the whole street in front of the hotel was dugged up for some fixing, so the taxi got some problems getting to the door. But overall a nice place to stay on a budget.

For $20 you can't really ask for more. Clean room with good AC and hot water. Yes, it isn't the Ritz. But for the price it is pretty darn excellent...

Decent Hotel that Slaps on Additional Charges

I don't normally write hotel reviews but felt obligated to weigh in on this one. After I paid for 5 nights online and then a 6th in cash, the night clerk (presumably the owner) charged me for two more nights as I was checking out. He claimed that I did not return the key card for room #2, even though my friend who stayed in that room was clearly gone after the first night. While no ID or credit card was used to procure the second room, somehow it was still tied to my name. Though I respectfully explained the situation, the manager refused to acknowledge my position and the armed guard at the front door prevented us from leaving to catch our flight until I paid the additional fees. Overall, Adriatico Arms offered a decent room for a reasonable price, located in a very touristy part of Manila. Most of the staff was friendly and the amenities were fine. There were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, including a relatively nice one attached to the hotel. Nonetheless, there are at least 20 similar establishments within a few block radius that all offered the exact same thing, so don't feel obligated to settle with one that will charge you for nights you don't use.

Excellent value

Very nice older building that's being well maintained. Courteous staff. The only complaint is no elevator, but I was only on the third floor. Not far from Intramuros, city hall and the US embassy. Will definitely stay again.
