Stay away from Amelie! Rooms are old, smelly, and filthy - found several bugs crawling around on the sheets. There's a sign when you come in discouraging using massage oils on the sheets when you have guests come in, so that should tell you about the typical clientele. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear drunk people coming in and out throughout the evening. Finally, staff is super rude - made a big fuss over a 1000 PHP cash deposit, and refused to let me leave until they did a thorough inspection of the room (despite my protests to just keep the deposit and let me leave to catch my flight on time). They even had security block my Grab from leaving - are you really going to go through all that fuss for 1000 PHP? Never coming back.

The rooms was exceptionally clean, bed was comfortable and not a lot of noise as expected in the area due to the heavy traffic and night life of the clubs around. It’s only one block from the main Robinson’s Place Mall entrance. Will be back.

It was a nice hotel in manila. 24 front desk is very convenient for international arrivals as not sure about exact time when u can check in. As my flight schedule was delayed one day. It was a little bit different using swipe card for elevator. the staff was very helpful to teach me how to use the elevator. Very high-tech and secure in my opinion. Staff very helpful. The restaurant/cafe food tasted good. I enjoyed my stay there even though only 1 night.

All was Good (specially the service). The only negative point is that the streets around are noisy until late night and the acoustic isolation of the Windows should be improved.

Despite booking for three, I had to ask to be given more than one key, ask for towel/toiletries etc., for three (rather than two). Food was strange ..... Spaghetti bolognese (listed as having tomato sauce) served without tomato sauce .... food served cold/lukewarm or a mix of warm (ie. salmon) and cold (vegetables) in the same order. Had a slight Fawlty Towers feel :) Check in staff and doormen very nice and helpful. Nice room - size and comfortable.
