When I checked in I asked the receptionist if there was any construction 🚧 going on at the hotel because I was at the other ascott the day before were there was construction noise and she looked at me and said no only to find out that there was construction pool side.

This is our second time staying with Ascott Markati. Always a great option if you are travelling as a family. Concierge was topnotch! Everyone is super nice they always greet you. Mall was super accessible. Parking was easy and secured.

Bathroom bidet leaking in the middle of the night and flooded the entire room. Imagine waking up to go to the bathroom and slippers were wet with toilet water. Room I was moved to was so dirty that window dusty, including the nightstand wherein you can write your name in the dust. Also day of checkout no elevator was working and I had to walk down the stairs, they had some sort of a drill wherein no electricity from 11pm to 5:30am but was supposed to have one elevator working. I mentioned to them of my early checkout but staff were indifferent to the guests dilemma. I’ve been staying in this hotel almost 1-2x’s / year for the past 10 years and I was letting them off of their inadequacies bec I like the friendly staff and its location, but this is the last straw!!!! I will write in every reviews and let them know of the worst experience I had in this hotel.

Quick getaway with our dogs
It was difficult to find a hotel that can accommodate large dogs so we were so happy. We checked in with our golden retriever and doodle, both are large breeds. Check in was smooth. We have to pay 1500php/dog per night for the pet fee. One goodie bag for our dogs was delivered after requesting for a dog bowl or pet amenities. They said they will give another one for our other dog but after following up 5 times, it never arrived. I am disappointed with the housekeeping when day do daily touch up. Dust is still everywhere. They always forget to give us face and hand towels so we have to ask for it. Kitchen has everything you need, big size refrigerator and a 5 gallon purified water is provided. The bathroom is old and small for a one bedroom executive. TV needs an upgrade too. Cable is really slow to load on the old tv and pretty hard to watch on a 20’ tv from the sofa or bed. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall we will stay again.

I really like very thing Ascott had to offer. Beautiful rooms, restaurant, barbershop, and the hospitality is just amazing. The Ascott is surrounded by restaurants and shopping malls not mentioned a pharmacy all within a short walking distance. I don’t need to go anywhere else.

The room initially provided had a musky odor, after informing the front desk they gave me another room right away. The front desk personel, Vanessa, was very accommodating. I had a restful weekend stay before my long flight back home. I would stay in this hotel again, due to the convenience of eveything in close proximity for my needs, shopping and dining.
