Este molino de casi dos siglos, perteneció a los ancestros de Secundino Rivera, artifices creadores de este molino en el siglo XIX, y como allá en el 1973, ya en manos de Secundino, olvidado y en ruina, emprendió un tedioso proceso de recuperación; completando maquinaría, piedras de muele, engranajes, etc, para convertirlo en su personal taller de pintura. Secundino Rivera (1932-2013), artista; pintor y escultor de reconocido renombre internacional. Hoy convertido en una vivienda!

The Space:
Si las piedras contaran historias, este molino de casi dos siglos, hablaría de una época donde los valores y la supervivencia iban de la mano. Donde en estas pequeñas villas costeras de cultivo y pesca, se las ingeniaban con vetustas herramientas y básicos materiales que con tesón y mucho esfuerzo, construyeron esta máquina de viento capaz de moler las cosechas locales de cultivo de trigo…Época de básicos; pescado, verduras, y pan, pero ese pan gallego tan apreciado por locales y extraños, que ha perdurado en los tiempos, pasando a ser un producto de necesidad a un delicatessen de exquisito reconocimiento…
Si estas piedras hablaran, contarían la historia de una familia, los abuelos de Secundino Rivera, artifices creadores de este molino en el siglo XIX, y como allá en el 1973, ya en manos de Secundino, olvidado y en ruina, emprendió un tedioso proceso de recuperación; completando maquinaría, piedras de muele, engranajes, etc, para convertirlo en su personal taller de pintura. Secundino Rivera (1932-2013), artista; pintor y escultor de reconocido renombre internacional, prolijo en obra que ahora podemos disfrutar como parte de la esencia de este molino, conmemora con su transformación a una propiedad vacacional, una nueva etapa de inspiración para todos aquellos aventureros de emociones, de destinos con historia, que el paso del tiempo, no hizo mella en sus fundamentos…
 
El molino queda situado, tranquilo e intimo entre bosques, en la recogida Villa de OBarqueiro, diminuto pintoresco puerto pesquero, firme a la entrada de mar de la Ría Sor, aun vigilante a la entrada marítima de los mares del Norte.

Una construcción original de muros de piedra macizos de ancho espesor, con su cúpula artesana de madera, atravesada por sus ejes y enteras vigas de castaño, nos ofrece una singular visión de vivir una experiencia arqueológica, pero modernizada al confort de nuestros tiempos para estancias muy personales.
