Very disappointing
I was traveling through the area after seeing family and needed a quiet and clean place to sleep. The first room I was given did not have working heat (room 102). They quickly offered another room. The light for the entry way/main area of the room did not work. It was something I was too tired to deal with although I did make staff aware. However, the room was unclean. There was a partially eaten apple under the bed, socks under the heating unit and a lot of mold in the shower. It was really disappointing as I normally trust the Microtel brand. I tried to load the photos, but it did not work.

We have stayed in this hotel at least once a year for 5+ years and this it the most unkempt it has ever been. The room had a bad smell the furniture was greasy. The pool was cloudy and smelled weird. I do not know what has happened in the past year! The people that worked there were still very nice but the overall stay was not good. We will likely find another hotel to stay at when we visit Mansfield.

Pool was out of order (a few hours after my initial questions about the pool I was made aware it was suddenly open but it was very cloudy and not very clean looking),spa tub was filled with concrete and permanantly closed,holes in carpet,cobwebs in the corners,mini fridge was slightly above room temperature. Conversations with staff and management didn't get far,tried to get refund to move to another local hotel and was told I wouldn't be able to talk to get an answer from a manager until Monday 3 days after my check in.i will take this to corporate office if it isn't resolved locally

I had the feeling the pool was not being properly maintained. Cloudy, no chlorine smell. Check in was not ideal. Front desk staff didnt know how to use their credit card options. Ended up with a work around to allow us to check in. Room was fine but the mirrors all around the room felt very cheap. Was quiet and convenient for a night's stay off the highway.

Overall our stay at the motel was very good only a few problems one the sink was slow draining in the bathroom. Two the toilet was slow running. Ask concierge if they would take the trash out they never did we had to put it out in the hallway we had to go down and get new trash bags and clean towels and washcloths ourselves other than that it was a pretty good stud overall conditions of the motel were great and yes we would stay there again.
