Location, location, location!
We had a great stay at Johnny's cabin. We all cant say enough about it! The location was right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. Johnny was a great host and quick to respond. He's made some great decisions in creating his little getaway. It's definitely an older cabin, but with some interesting additions. First off, it's much bigger than you expect. Definitely big enough for 4 adults and two dogs. There is a second story that includes a separate sitting area along with the second bedroom. The first bathroom with the shower was a little tight, but the second bathroom with the tub was quite spacious. The kitchen was also bigger than expected with room to eat in, and the living room with large lcd tv and family game area were both spacious as well. The fenced in back yard off the living room was great for our two dogs as well. One of them likes to test perimeters and didn't find any way through which was great for night-time potty breaks. Plenty of grounded outlets, newer washer, dryer and diswasher. Great grounds to explore, with floral beds, grapevines, and pine trees. Only about a quarter mile road access to a great bike trail (boardwalk, gravel and asphalt). We biked from the cabin to the path. We will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone needing a home base for the Sleeping Bear Dunes area, Maple City, Cedar, Glen Harbor, Crystal River, Port Oneida, and many more.
