Overall not too bad, fantastic location with great transport links, however the lack of a lift, you have to leave the room key at the reception every time you go out as well as it being the same key as the room safe and that the rooms are very small is the reason for the rating

I was nervous when I found out that this was 2 stars. BUT. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I fell off a bike and they dressed my knee, the room was very clean and very comfortable, yes it was small but it’s the centre of the marais and the location is unbeatable - right next to St. Paul metro. If I can afford it I will stay here again.

This is a hotel in a lively area of Paris, it’s in an old building and I was in a top floor room without a lift so it was a bit of a climb to get up there. The hotel was clean and staff were great- brilliant value.

Breakfast was great; excellent location near Place de Vosges; duc de Sully residence; one of the oldest parts of Paris, where the Kings lived, Henri IV, Catherine de Medici, and Princesse de Cleves; lots of history.

Had a great stay at the practic hotel for four nights. Location was great. Rooms were a tad small but it did the trick; I didn’t come to Paris to stay in the hotel! It was clean and safe. The staff made my stay! They were so lovely and helped me carry my very heavy bags. Thank you kindly.

Great hotel especially if you love the Marais and great shopping / cafe /resto area around. In my opinion the best area in Paris. Only small drawback there’s no lift /elevator so someone with mobility issues thus could be tough. It’s a small staircase especially if you’re on the top floors. (6 is top floor). Other then that would reco.

The hotel is in a great location for shopping, restaurants and metro. Rooms are small but very clean. Staff were great. Request Floor 1 or 2 as there is no Elevators..... you'll get fit if your above these floors! But you are out all day exploring Paris.

Bed bugs - terrible stay. No lift our room was on the 6th floor - no aircondition, water pot not working , plug was cut . Bathroom was ok - overall it is really terrible . I forgot my neck pillow but they did not return to think we left our suitcases hours after we checked out . They could have returned . This hotel. We reported the bugs they said they checked and there was none as they said - water pot not addressed.

Very old hotel with small room. The reception try to give me a smaller room than the one I booked which the room is basically just the bed. Have to put luggage in the bed.

You like walking up stairs, this is your place
It was comfortable but the hotel (7 stories) had no elevator which made it difficult climbing 7 flights of stairs after a long day of walking. I had an accident of not reaching the bathroom in time. After that incident I requested to be moved to a lower level for the remainder of my stay which was accommodated.
