For the price, I love this place. When they replace the mattresses and fix the humidity issue, it will be 5-star to me. The setting is the best it can be. All else was perfect by my standards.

Well, the property is quaint and cute. The room itself could use an update. In a word it is “Janky“ at best.. But I will say it was clean the linens and towels, etc. were all provided and the floors were clean. So it’s good for a stop over on your way south to the keys or if you’re just there for the fishing. And a place to sleep. The general store for buying bait and tackle and anything else you might need for your hotel room is under construction right now. So it was closed It would’ve been nice if they had let us know that because once you’re there, there’s nowhere else to go and get anything. I wish them success, but I think they need to pay a little more attention to the details of the rooms and communicating with upcoming guests.

Plenty room to improve.
The late check-in was stressful. We were texted our room number without the key access. It was raining and we had to call to get the code. The two free WIFIs weren't working. It kept kicking us out. The floor was so dirty that my bottom of my feet turned black after being in the room for just 5 minutes. However, we liked our deck that go right out to the private dock.

Amazing morning views. Many birds. Swimming pool in great location. Paddle board and kayaks were complementary. And jet ski rental was cheaper than any other rental place. A car is required to go to restaurants, etc. There is nothing in this island. The hotel is in the side of the hwy, next to the bridge. The noise from the cars are non-stop in all the common areas. Inside the room, however, was quiet. We did not hear noise front the neighbors either. Good deal for the price, specially if the intention is to go fishing.

Had a nice stay. Nice sized room and a nice view off of the balcony. Stayed while Hurricane Raphael was passing to the south so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool or water sports. Good deal for the price. The food truck and general store on site were very convenient.

They are in the process of updating their rooms. #6 is brand new. The rooms by the docks have noisy air conditioners & refrigerators. Rooms are clean, linens scratchy. No drink glasses in kitchenette. Tiki bar and pool nice. You get a discount on jet skis if you stay there. Staff very nice!
