It is located just a 2-minute walk down the street to the beach and has direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. From the moment you drive down the street…curbside appeal, A+ 100!!! Has convenient under roof parking, while surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. On the first floor, a luxurious double bedroom suite with its own bathroom and walk-in closet provides guests with the privacy they may need. Just a step outside an oasis of fun awaits with a pristine pool (heated optional), infinity edge hot tub that displays an enchanting illumination glow by night, a summer kitchen with plenty of dining and seating area throughout, in addition to a variety of outdoor games that are guaranteed to provide hours and hours of family fun. Love the ocean? This is a perfect property indeed.

A 5ft fish cleaning station, freezer chest and ice maker are conveniently located steps away from the 50-foot dock. This property accommodates several cars and even a boat trailer on premises.

On the second floor from the moment, you step in, you are greeted by top to bottom sliding doors bringing in natural light and water views that will take your breath away. Just past the large sliders you’re invited to curl up on the comfortable outdoor seating for a chat, a quick nap, or even take breakfast, lunch or dinner out to this breezy dining area ready to host many memorable meals. This home has a warm and inviting open concept living, dining and a fully equipped kitchen. We are proud to show you why we are a little piece of paradise in our family friendly home, and we are located next door to one of the most rented places in Marathon, Shangri La Hideaway House. We are able to rent our home with our neighbor, Shanri La Hideaway House, 4BR/4BA, to allow up to a 9-bedroom rental for many large family gatherings up to 22 guests! That VRBO number is 2406111 if you are interested in booking a large family/friendly gathering. 2 houses, 2 pools, 2 amazing houses next to each other for a spectacular vacation for all.

*Dock no longer has a boat lift on it and bumpers are able to be used for your boats*

Beautiful house in excellent location
We had a wonderful stay at this house! The house itself is extremely clean and has a wonderful living space/outdoor space. The location is extremely hard to beat in this area -- it is a 1-2 minute walk down to Sombrero beach and located right on the canal. The house was well stocked -- including pack n plays for the baby. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Keys!

Great vacation
The house was amazing. Plenty of room for our group of 9. We paid extra to have the pool heated which was nice since it was cooler in February. Owner kept the pool at 88 degrees. The spa went up to 103 degrees as well. Having a boat dock was great too. We did not get to go fishing but the large ice machine kept our beverage cooler cold and it was nice not having to buy ice everyday. The only thing I wish they would change is the 9:30 am check out time. We had to get up very early to get out on time.

2nd time around the Sun!
This is our second time in 3 years staying at this property. We would recommend this home for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in marathon, with easy access to the sombrero beach, wonderful pool and dockage, first class interior finishes, and less than 5 minute boat ride to the ocean. We’ve stayed in several nice homes in this area over the years, but this particular property is the one we enjoy the most for all the reasons listed. Highly recommend you book you next vacation in this home!

Great stay for our family
The house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and two kids under the age of 4. The house has everything needed including kids plates, cups, travel crib and high chair. The home is super clean and only a couple minutes walk from Sombrero beach. The pool and deck were perfect for swimming or just hanging out and the view from the roof is awesome. The home is within a few minutes drive to all the attractions in Marathon and Michelle was a great communicator and quickly answered all our questions.

Great week!
We had a blast! The house is beautiful and clean. We arrived to Jimmy Buffett playing on the tv and a carafe of ice cold water - such a nice touch. We had 6 adults and 6 kids, with plenty of room. The rooftop deck was excellent for sunrise, sunsets, and star gazing. The kids and adults loved kayaking in the canal, swimming in the pool and the short walk to Sombrero Beach. Michelle was great to work with and responded almost immediately to any question or need. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is exactly as described. The property manager is very prompt with check in and with any of our needs while we were at the property. She also let us know about incoming severe weather and traffic delays. The property is a great location. Our kids really enjoyed being able to walk to Sombrero Beach, and swimming in the pool.

Beautiful House, Awesome Location
Spent a week here with a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 5 to 17). There was more than enough room for everyone. The outdoor space is incredible! The pool and hot tub are large and there was plenty of room for all of us to swim and relax. We did a lot of fishing in the canal and caught fish along with some unexpected things like a pufferfish and an eel! We absolutely loved having the ability to just walk down the street to Sombrero beach. We would walk down with coffee to watch the sunrise and come back to make breakfast- it was a perfect way to start the day. We had everything we needed for a great stay, and definitely didn’t want to leave. Last but not least, Michelle is a fantastic host. She was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. Without a doubt the best host we’ve had at a vacation rental. Thanks for a great week!

Great stay in Marathon
Our group of 8 ages 13-76 enjoyed all aspects of our stay in Marathon. This house was the perfect place to enjoy the pool, walk or bike to Sombrero beach and enjoy fishing and bird watching off the dock. Michelle was excellent with communication. We felt well taken care of and appreciated her helpful tips. Our favorite things were spotting a nurse shark off the dock, biking Old 7 Mile bridge, catching little fish off the dock, swimming in the pool and sunrises/sunsets on the beautiful rooftop. Highly recommend Keys Fishery in Marathon and Lazy Daze in Islamorada for amazing seafood restaurants and views.

Perfect Get Away!

Beautiful home, fabulous location
Every year we spring break with our family of 4 and our best friends family of 4. This was the best house and location we have been to!!! The pool is perfect, sombrero beach is right next door, the house was very equipped for fun and there are so many great restaurants a quick car or boat ride away. We rented a boat for the week and it was easy to dock it at this house. Our kids swam, fished off the dock, kayaked, played beach volleyball, and even got to see a rehabilitated sea turtle being released back into the wild right at sombrero beach!!! The owner was very responsive and even sent us tips of things to do during the week. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible Property!
We just had the most wonderful vacation at this property! We traveled with 8 adults, 2 toddlers, and a baby… and there was more than enough room for everyone here. The property owner thought of everything (industrial ice machine, mini fridge and cooler by the pool, beach wagon, floaties, beach toys, towels, bathrooms/tvs in every bedroom, and all the kitchen supplies you could need)! Our favorite part was the pool/Spa by far… My 3 year old spent every waking moment in that pool, and continues to ask if we could bring the pool home 😂. We even made friends with “Earl,” a rather large iguana, that stopped by the pool to visit from time to time. The beach was also nice, and a very short walk away. The longer areas of beach had quite a bit of seaweed, so we stayed close to the side with the little pier, which was lovely. By the little pier is small beach, which is very calm and shallow. It was nice for the small kids because they could walk out several feet and still touch the bottom. I️ would HIGHLY recommend this place! The weather was perfect, the views were gorgeous, and Michelle the owner was always very available and helpful! We had the best time 😁

AMAZING TRIP
We travel quite a bit and stay in VRBO type properties and this one was just amazing. Open Floor plan layout, amazing pool and hot tub, and a very short walk to the beach. The property manager was wonderful, and gave us recommendations of things to do while we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! Had such a blast. This house was the perfect fit for the 10 of us. We plan on staying here again in the future. Great location; short walk to the beautiful Sombrero beach yet off the main road so there wasn’t a lot of traffic in front of the house.

This property was perfect for our family! Close to the beach, amazing pool/hot tub, on a canal with fish cleaning station and it had plenty of space for our family and friends. Marathon is our favorite area in the Keys to bring the young kids. Michelle was so great to work with also. Awesome house, location and vacation!!

The place was great and wondered location. The set up for our family was awesome! Pool and outside was perfect. The kitchen was lacking normal everyday items. Not enough toilet paper and no Kleenex and paper products!

Everything was awesome and our host was top-notch. If I could make a few recommendations for improvement, they would be 1) Refresh warn out pots and pans, 2) Repair kayak seats so useable, 3) Extend checkout time to 11:00am instead of 9:30am.
