Find your Oasis on Lake Gogebic! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home overlooking beautiful Lake Gogebic, the largest lake in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a one of a kind vacation destination. It was recently remodeled. The main level is handicap accessible with ramp, 36" doorways and roll in shower.
Guests love it for all seasons. Are you fishing for a walleye or jumbo perch? Or the beauty of the fall colors? Maybe snowmobiling on 1000+ miles of groomed trails (braap)? With an annual snowfall of nearly 300 inches, Lake Gogebic is situated on the best snowmobile trail system in the country. We are located right by Trail 1 on the West Shore. If some R & R in the Northwoods is your jam, cozy up to the fireplace and play some chess or visit the local shops. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. A dock and boat lift onsite. Forget something or don't feel like cooking-- Gogebic Lodge is located right next door for gas, bait, restaurant and bar.

Had a hard time opening key box and beds were not made or gas in grit. But after all that was corrected. Everything went well. Will plan to come back next fall.

Relaxing weekend
We had a great relaxing weekend on the lake Gogebic. Property was exactly as described. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked. We loved that it was right next door to the Gogebic Lodge, convenient to dine out. By the way, food there was delicious! Great lake neglected house
We have been using VRBO at least twice a year for over a decade, with no problems. We have never had a bad owner or experience. A day into our stay we had to go and buy paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags as the property ran out of those supplies. We attempted to use the fireplace on the first day that we arrived and found the pilot light out and the ignitor did not light. We were able to get the pilot to light, but even after it was lit, the fireplace worked sporadically. The sliding door to the walk through bedroom was very difficult to open and close. A door knob to the upstairs bedroom was broken and off so that door was not able to latch. There were baby toys and food behind the dressers and dead bugs on the windows and sills.The mattresses were uncomfortable. Some had to put pillows under the fitted sheets to tolerate sleeping on them. It may sound like nitpicking, but we would like others to know the quality of sleep that they will get. The only check out instructions were to take the garbages to the dumpster. Not only did we do that, but we swept up the kitchen, wiped down the fridge, and put stuff back as we found it. We washed the towels and living room blankets, and put them in the dryer prior to leaving. After doing all of this the owner attempted to assess us for an additional cleaning fee. Luckily VRBO was able to see that the charge had no validity and canceled it immediately. Photo evidence is a must when it comes to fraudulent charges

Great Family Stay
Overall a great stay with a very accurate description. The lake is gorgeous and neighborhood is nice. The walk through bedroom can be a little challenging to navigate depending on family situations but that was known up front. Thanks Bridget and Wayne!

Bucket list trip
My father loved the lake so much that he asked to have his ashes spread in the lake. I was in the military when he passed and never had the opportunity to visit the lake. I and my family made the trip this Father’s Day weekend to finally see my dad’s favorite place and spend Father’s Day with him. Nice place on Lake Gogebic
The location and place were very nice! The deck/patio out back are directly on the lake. Had the weather cooperated and not rained all weekend, it would have been a nice spot to sit in the evening. The place was well stocked, cleaned and maintained. Many thanks to the hosts!

We were staying for a family wedding. We had a group of family and friends. We were immediately impressed with the views and charm of the place. We all agreed we would keep this place in mind for future trips! Comfortable, clean, and convenient. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer and enjoy the amenities more. Oasis North Stay
The location couldn't be any better. The house is only feet from the water! What a wonderful getaway. We had just about everything we needed during our stay. One thing that the listing doesn't state is that the two upstairs bedrooms are only accessible by going through the bedroom on the main floor. It wasn't a big deal for our group though. The only issue that we had with the place is that the listing states handicapped accessible, but there are no grab bars in the bathroom by the toilet. We had a wheelchair bound guest with us and struggled there. Everything else was perfect, the entry ramp, shower, and the door to the back deck. I would absolutely stay here again!

We did a family vacation and it could not have been better. The house and location were fantastic. There is plenty to do. We brought our pontoon. My kids brought their ATV’s. The days were filled. We had dinners together and talked about the day’s activities. We followed up the evening playing games. Great family memories.

Summer Family Vacation
House is of mixed age with various remodels and additions, but functioned as needed and was clean. Upstairs is accessed via main level bedroom - not private but okay for us. Located adjacent to Gogebic Lodge's beach, creating more outdoor noise than typical neighbors, but not a big issue for us...and the lodge was a convenient source for boat fuel. We had no success fishing Gogebic, but still enjoyed the view and easy access to the lake. Direct TV, Wi-Fi and DVD player. Drive time is about 1-hour to Bond Falls, Porcupine Mountains, and Ironwood areas.

It was fun and fishing was great!
Super fun,fishing was great,the down stairs bedrooms really has no privacy which im not sure if i missed that info or not when looking at the listing to begin with.becacause the upstairs bedroom guests have to use that as a walk way thru to main living area.otherwise most everything else was perfect.also the grill didnt seem to want to work right but thats not a huge issue or anything.

The Perfect Place for Relaxation
The Oasis North is the perfect place to relax. It has everything we needed and the view is beautiful!! My family had the best time and there was so much to do! We went hiking, sat by the lake, got to view the waterfalls while my husband and his brothers went golfing. I would definitely recommend this as a place for you and your family as a relaxing getaway.

Snowmobile and Icefishing Getaway
Property is located in a great spot next to gogebic lodge and snowmobile trails. Nearby fishing was good for perch and walleye. Driveway is big enough for multiple snowmobile trailers. Trash service is lacking, when a place sleeps 12 people, a 32 gallon can outside isn’t enough. One of the bedrooms is right in the middle of the house and you have to walk through it get to the other two bedrooms and bath.

Nice place on Lake Gogebic next to Gogebic Lodge. Everything was great except it got a little chilly in the main house when temps were below 0. Owner was very nice and great to deal with.
