Very good

Our trainers room was above the pub itself and was dreadfully noisy the whole evening with no warning of this. She also had a family with young children in the room next door and they were terribly noisy the whole evening due to the noise downstairs. Would not recommend if you have been working all day are tired and want to sleep. If you are going to join in downstairs then you will be fine.
The room was clean apart from the fan needed a good clean it was full of dust. I didn't get into the bed as the springs in the matterss where very prominent, luckily it was warn so slept on top of the duvet helped abit. The pillows were very flat.
We had a lovely spacious room here with a double bed plus 2 single beds for two of us and lots of space. A little bit dated but clean and tidy, perfect for a reasonably priced stay, as we were going to a concert at Dreamland which is about 25mins walk or 5mins taxi ride away.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Clean, comfortable and with a friendly welcome. At present there is no food and it would be good to make this clear. I was directed to several alternative options and well looked-after.
Great and comfortable stay! Check inn was quick and easy and entrance to hotel is actually separate to the adjacent pub which was great as we wasn't disturbed by any noise from the revellers on a weekend! Room was very spacious for a family of 4 and was very clean! Would highly recommend and great location. Only 5 min drive to Margate central!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Overpriced for this hotel
The hotel experience was underwhelming.
We were told on arrival that there was no food available. (Kitchen was closed for two weeks)
The reading lights in the room & above the mirror didn't work.
Only 4 saches of coffee, no soap in the bathroom. The pump action handwash was empty, the place were the hairdryer was, had no hairdryer.
The bedstead was loose and banged on the wall.
However, the room was clean enough, I think if we had paid £60 a night that would have been fair.
But £80, for no breakfast and no facilities made it overpriced.
Nice simple clean room, friendly host and good beer in the pub below!

Very clean, but not a place to stay for more than
Very clean room and bathroom with nice clean white sheets and duvet. There was a kettle, cups, wardrobe and tv in the room. With a small table and 1 stool. There wasnt a chair to sit in. The room (room 4) decor is dated, the single bed mattress has springs you can feel when sleeping. the double mattress was fine. This room faces the road and althougth the double glazed windows were closed we heasrd the traffic late at night and in the mornnig. The hotel is above a pub and on a main road.
These rooms are above a pub so be prepared for loud music, either take earplugs (i did ) or go join in downstairs, I slept like a log, the staff were very friendly and even though i didn't eat there, the food looked delicious and other people seem to be enjoying it, the rooms are upstairs with no lift m, so if you struggle with stairs this place isn't for you, i would definitely use the Hussar again.
