Was pleasantly surprised to find a ‘ galaxy’ of stars on the ceiling when the lights are turned off! Not apparent at all as the ceiling looks like it’s just painted white. Very clever!

Great location for family stay
Fantastic location in central Innsbruck with plenty of space in a family room - double, single & single sofa bed. The shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, but staff ensured efforts were made to improve it. Good selection of breakfast. Helpful staff at hotel & its adjoining bar. Laundrette within couple of minutes walk. Would recommend for family stay.

Awestruck in Innsbruck
The Hotel Mondshein is centrally located about an 18 minute walk from the maon train station. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a stort stay and the location was great. Just 5 minutes to the train/ cable car ride to the "top of Innsbruck". Well worth the price of admission. Thr hotel is also right across the river from the old town.

Great location and nice layout of the room, esp for a family of four. Very friendly front desk, and helpful with stowing our luggage with an early arrival. Rooms wound up being ready ahead of regular check in time, too. Breakfast left a little to be desired but overall is a decent spread. Would stay here again.

Parking at the hotel is for smaller cars only. We had to park on the opposite side of the river. Which is a 5-7 minute walk. When you arrive you temporarily park curb side and have to unload everything you need there. Of course we forgot something in the car and I had to go back to the garage at night to get it. So plan ahead when packing. Hotel is in a beautiful area.

Wonderful experience at Hotel Mondschein
It was a beautiful room. The beds were very comfortable. I very much enjoyed taking baths in the deep soaking bathtub. I prefer baths but it seems most hotels in Europe only have showers. The room also had a large double closet as well as hooks to hang coats etc. I assume this was for skiers in the winter as were the heated towel bars. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was sorry to see our stay end.

Downgraded for the foul odor coming from the bathroom that smelled like sewer gas. Unacceptable. Very comfortable bed, average breakfast, gorgeous view of the river from a front room. However, if you should open your window for fresh air, that view comes with noise and cigarette smoke from the street below. Not the fault of the hotel; just being informative. Great location!
