One of our rooms smelled strongly of the Mexican cleaning product, so much so that my dog smelled of the product. Our other room's bathtub was dirty. There was a ring around the tub. I definitely used my sandals when taking a shower because it was a very hot day, and I had no choice but to shower. My daughter didn't want to use the bathroom at all. The air-conditioner didn't work. Kept turning off even though we didn't put it on auto. The beds were small. Everything seemed dingy. The pictures didn't reflect the actual room.

Room was clean and bed was comfy but the toilet had been used & not cleaned with direct evidence. This sort of wrecked my overall sense of the place. If that hadn’t been the case, my rating & stay would have been much more pleasant.

This was the nicest Motel 6 I’ve ever seen! Very clean, comfortable bed, and pleasant grounds. Plus Marina is a nice little town with a secluded beach. Recommend for sure as a place to stay while visiting Monterey.
