"We had a wonderful week at Casita Uvita! The host, Tom, was very helpful in getting us settled. The best part was when we saw some monkeys one day in the trees by the pool! The back yard was a real oasis with some interesting birds and the amazing pool. We enjoyed the beautiful beach at Marino Ballena National Park in Uvita (we spotted a sloth in a tree near the entrance), the Uvita Waterfalls and butterfly garden, and it was a good area jump off to other destinations: Osa/Sierpe (ziplining and mangrove boat tour), Alturas Wildlife Rescue Centre, and Manuel Antonio National Park. The patio by the pool did get a little buggy in the evening. The kids loved seeing 3 big toads and the little gecko lizards that come out at night. We enjoyed using the new barbecue to make some dinners. The house was very clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the air conditioning and fans. We were 4 adults and 4 kids aged 7-12 (2 families from Canada) sharing the space. Thank you for a wonderful holiday that we will always remember! "

"We loved this place. The pool was fantastic and it was very close to many restaurants and the beach. Clean and comfortable. Secure parking. My teenage son and I stayed here. Two large comfortable bedrooms and 2 bath/showers. I would highly recommend."
