This place just could not be any more perfect for what we had in mind...a nice, clean place to stay at night after we would visit Yosemite each day.
It actually IS pretty cozy, and very nicely decorated. It all seems very new, so the bathroom and kitchen felt clean and welcoming.
And, while cozy, it did not feel cramped at all. The kitchen was plenty big for the four of us to cook a meal and eat.
The one bed is really, really comfortable, and I was told by the others in my party that the roll-away and pull-out futon were comfortable also.
The air conditioner worked wonderfully, so we slept comfortably each night.
Lynda the host is very nice and eager to please.
The unit is not free-standing on its own...meaning it is actually attached to the host's main house. But the way it is situated you don't even realize it, as you have your own entrance on the other side of the house, with all the privacy you might want.
The only caveat, and it is a small one, is that - although it sleeps four comfortably (one queen bed, as a futon for two, and a roll-away), there is not a separate bedroom, so all four people are sleeping essentially in a large room that doubles as the living room. If it's just a couple, it would not matter one iota. If there's four of you and you want to be separated for some reason from the others in your party, that won't happen. It was me and three teenagers, and we actually enjoyed the experience.
The cost itself was a lot less than others in the area, and so great value for the money. And I especially appreciated that the host's cleaning fee was more than reasonable. (Some other places have very high cleaning fees that sometimes seem to be just another way for the hosts to make more money. But that's just MHO)
All in all, a very nice experience, and I look forward to staying there again.
