iThe room was great. The restaurant had very good service and the location is picture perfect. Marlowe is a great town with lots of options for any itinerary.

The general facilities were cramped and gloomy, with the layout again cramped and complicated having grown like topsy with too many stairs. The situation was redeemed by room 91 which was clean, comfortable, airy and with an hypnotic view over the weir. The staffing at reception/ concierge was excellent and most helpful. The staff in the dining room (dinner) were pushy and more interested in being given favourable reviews than in giving a good service. We only dined once as a consequence. Sorry! Had the overall feeling of an airport hotel.

Underwhelming
Location was good, everything else was average at best and below-par in terms of cleanliness. Hotel is tired and dated and being asked to pay extra at breakfast if you want something different like avocado, eggs benedict or even a different coffee is just strange. Drinks are very expensive as well - £16 for a glass of wine with a 12.5% service charge on top is excessive.

Nice hotel in lovely location on the river which is why it is quite expensive with free car parking. The hotel is cashless but the WiFi is not good enough to cope with credit card transactions at times. We attempted to pay for drinks in the bar, three times before it finally worked causing customer frustration and queues at the bar. We didn’t have a evening meal in the hotel as we went to a local Vietnamese restaurant and had a lovely meal, plenty of choice of different cuisines in Marlow. Breakfast in hotel plenty choice but sausages and black pudding (soggy mess) could have been cooked a bit more. overall a nice stay and we would stay again in the future.

Very welcoming. Stayed for a family wedding. Lovely room, overlooked car park. Good size balcony. Very clean. Room comfortable but too warm. Very attentive staff. Fantastic location, short walk into town. Lovely riverside location. Large car park. 3-4 minutes walk across causeway to church for the wedding. Lovely garden area with plenty of seating. Only down side was price of drinks If you want to get a taxi to windsor then advise Uber as half price compared to the one hotel booked us. Can get a train but its 2 changes so can take up to 2 hours.

Top class hotel, perfectly situated on the Thames
What a beautiful hotel, right on the river Thames. The staff are so kind and friendly, and really make you feel special. The rooms are very nice with a very comfortable bed and fluffy dressing gowns and slippers. Breakfast has a great selection for everyone. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the sausages were really tasty. All in all we would stay here again as a treat, and would highly recommend this hotel a must visit if you are looking for somewhere to stay.

We were there for a wedding which was absolutely lovely but the drinks prices were extortionate and there was a charge for literally everything. It was £15 for a glass of sangria. WTH??? Shocking. The room was small for the price as well. Lovely location and they ran the event well but wow, the prices were just unreal. Never again unless we have to.

The room had a fab view but was tired ! It seemed like a very quick turnaround with dirty pants left in a draw. The hotel is a great location. There was a wedding ceremony on the day . I asked for a glass of champagne they said they didn’t have any glasses to serve me one !!!!!
