Had a lodge looking style which was very nice and the minute you walked in the door, you had beautiful views of Lake Superior through the dining area! We hit peak foliage time and it was stunning! Drawback was that even though we got there early in the day, we could not change our room to one with a balcony (even if we paid extra) because we got our room through Expedia. ☹️ Only a 5 to 10 minute drive into Munising. Another drawback is that the parking area is below the hotel, so whoever drives has to walk up several flights of stairs after dropping off their passengers-if needed.

Beautiful location with fabulous views. Property is old and not is good condition. For the price I would expect an updated and in good condition property. Staircase from parking lot up to entry in dangerously poor condition.

Great hotel with great amenities!
We had an amazing time in Munising and this hotel was wonderful. We ended up in their new section and were told they would be renovating the entire hotel within the year. Breakfast had a nice variety. Our room overlooked the lake with a nice deck and a very comfortable bed. We also used the pool and hot tub. Overall, very happy with our stay. Also staff at check in desk very pleasant and helpful with suggestions for eating and site seeing.
