We'd reserved 2 rooms through Expedia. On arrival, they were only expecting us to have one room, but said the second one would be ready in 20 minutes (2 hours later, it still wasn't). The one room that they showed us to had the electric socket hanging off the wall with loose wires sticking out. We pointed it out, they promised it would be fixed in 20 minutes (3 days later they hadn't touched it). That night we did get our two rooms, one of them lovely but both freezing cold. The next night they moved all our belongings from one room to an attic room (also freezing cold), without asking us. The bed had a spot of blood on the sheet! The final straw came the next morning, when they informed us the manager's family had all arrived to stay and we would have to relocate to another hotel.
Expedia were great, they managed to sort out a refund for us and got the hotel to pay the taxi fare to a different hotel, which we booked ourselves.
Even the taxi journey was a nightmare, the manager had us sitting in a taxi for 20 minutes waiting for the driver, who eventually appeared with another family and their luggage, and told us to get out of the car and find another taxi.
All in all, a dreadful experience.
