Very spacious and well-lit corner 3 bedroom apartment in Marsaxlokk, sleeps 6

A lovely 170m2 fully-airconditioned apartment comprising of one large main bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite shower, 2 twin-bed rooms, a separate bathroom, a store room, a larger than usual combined dining/living/kitchen area, an inner courtyard and 2 balconies to the street. The apartment's main door is accessed directly from the street, which means guests do not need to pass through a common area to access the apartment. Please note that there is no lift and that guests have to climb one flight of stairs from the ground floor to the first floor to go to the combined area and the rest of the apartment. The apartment has its own free WiFi, a smart TV, a DVD player, a washing machine, a microwave, air conditioners in each bedroom and in the combined area, a hairdryer, etc... Hand and bathroom towels, beach towels and linen will be provided. No smoking only. Late arrivals are not a problem - guests will be instructed how to retrieve the key to the apartment.

The apartment is situated at a very short walking distance (one minute) from Marsaxlokk's waterfront and the main square. Marsaxlokk is a very charming and picturesque fishermen's village, the last of its kind on the island, and is visited by many tourists both during the day and at night. It has many cafes and restaurants, some specializing in fish, a pharmacy, various grocery stores, butchers, a bakery, confectioneries, hairdressers, 2 ATMs, etc... A bus stop, a grocery store, a butcher, a hairdresser, a children's play area, many restaurants, a renowned fish shop and the sea are just a couple of steps away from the apartment's main door. Finally, there is a large street market every Sunday all along the Marsaxlokk promenade where one can buy not only fish, but also vegetables, toiletries, clothes, souvenirs...

This property exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly spacious and the aircon was amazing! The location is fantastic, only one street off main street on the waterfront, walking distance to restaurants, cafes, a great little beach for swimming for little ones, park and convenience stores. We wanted something more traditional so as to have character and this property delivered. It was spotless and the manager was so fantastic. We have a 2yr old and were concerned about the stairs, the manager had a baby gate, high chair and cot for us on arrival. We were so grateful! We also had the airline change our flight and arrived much earlier but when we contacted the manager they arranged for us to be able check in 4hrs early. Spectacular service.

A lovely spacious property a short walk from the harbour and with a bus stop directly outside. All the facilities you require are catered for in the property. Only complaint was regarding the confusing rubbish and recycling instructions and the requirement to have to get up early to put it out before 7am

A cool oasis in Marsaxlokk
We had a lovely few days in Marsaxlokk. The apartment was easy to find with plenty of parking across the street. The owner's family was helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed the cool A/C and never had to add additional money to keep the A/C running. The 20 euro credit was plenty for our group of 6. I enjoyed the Senseo coffee maker but it was hard to find the pods nearby so we went to the nearby Costa coffee when we ran out. It was awesome to be so near to the market. I woke at 6 to watch the tents and vendors setting up. The Sea Coast Confectionary store is really great and really close. The SPAR isn't too far away for produce. The beds and couch were comfortable. No complaints!

The apartment is in a great location, just around the corner from the harbour. The location is quiet and the apartment is clean, large and has everything your would need. Clare was really helpful before check in, while we were there and post our return. Comfy beds which is always important and even had beach towels which is rare.

Spacious and Comfortable Apartment
My wife and I spent a very comfortable week at the apartment. It is very spacious, well equipped and clean. The location is quiet, but very convenient, being just two minutes walk from a supermarket and the harbour and restaurants etc. on the Marsaxlokk waterfront. There is easy car parking right by the apartment in the square. Buses to Valletta and the rest of the island are close by. Unfortunately, we had a power cut on our second night. Apparently, the air conditioning system was not entirely compatible with the rest of the wiring in the apartment. Arrangements were made for an electrician to attend straight away and the problem was quickly resolved. It did not reoccur. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and we have no reservations in recommending it to others.

This is a great property. Clean, well equipped and very well maintained. The owner (Claire) was amazing in answering all my questions - we went during Covid situation - and sorting out anything we needed or queried immediately. We had trouble with the electricity supply the first night (an outside of the building issue) and she had it sorted with the electricity board in Malta within half an hour!! Netflix and internet great in the times we were in the apartment as had 2 teenagers and 2 early 20’s with me. The area is lovely in a non touristy area of the island.

A Great Family Stay
We came as a family to spend a month in Marsaxlokk. This spacious apartment was perfect as it was so close to the hubbub of the fishing village. The bedrooms were a good size with space for all your clothes etc. One very positive thing about the storage is that it is empty and not full of owners belongings which can often happen. Because of the size you never felt on top of each other which led to a relaxed holiday. Shopping for food is very easy as there is a small corner shop within a few metres and futher up the hill is a Spar. There are quite a few places to walk to and enjoy the scenery and a small sandy beach where we swam most days. A car is not essential as there is a reasonable bus service but you would enjoy the island more if you have one. Overall I cannot fault this apartment and my liaison with the owner and her family too. I would love to return!

We spent a week at the beginning of August . The apartment is very spacious and well equipped with everything you need on holiday. Perfectly functioning air conditioning was a blessing as the weather was really hot. Centrally located with easy access to local amenities and transport links, bus 81 route to Valetta just next to the apartment! The apartment is centrally located. There are superb restaurants and a marketplace nearby. Plenty of buses. A small beach and walks nearby. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the apartment for a family holiday.

Lovely property in a perfect location
We stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks, so it really was a home from home. It was very spacious, clean and furnished to a high standard. As we had 3 children with us, including 2 teenagers, we really appreciated the free wi-fi and netflix! The owners were very friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had very quickly. The property is located in the heart of Marsaxlokk which is a very attractive fishing village with lots of restaurants. Marsaxlokk also has a small beach which you can swim at or, if you are prepared to walk a little further, then St Peter's Pool is a lovely place to swim. We bought a 7 day 'tallinja' bus pass so were able to explore the island on a budget without having to rent a car. We would definitely go back!
