The Inn on the Lake I wish I could have seen!
Expedia, I had the misfortune of running a bolt into my tire from construction on the highway. I did not make it to my destination of the "Inn on the Lake" hotel. I called to inform the host that I would not be making it in time. The host to the Inn on the Lake, was very sympathetic and hoped I would make it there. I understand the business side and know I would not get a refund however, I just want you to know that this would have been a wonderful place to stay just because of the Host who had the time to talk to me and make me feel good regardless of my misfortune. She gave me hope that I would endure this mess. To that I wish to say there are good people out there and a smile behind a voice on the phone means a lot. Thank you Expedia for helping me plan my route.

Maybe under better circumstances
Beds were comfortable. I guess a earthquake hit a month or two before we arrived and they said it knocked out the satellite TV and couldnt connect to wifi in the cabin I guess because I had a American device and if it was Canadian it would normally reach?!?!? The hot tub was filthy. If you want to eat there it's $40 a person. Smelled great though!! Those were the big issues after being on the road for twelve hours. Not what was promised or expected for that price.

Very Accommodating and Friendly!
The staff were great, the food was delicious - they even served us our anniversary dinner in our cottage since our kids were in bed. The cottage decks were a bit sketchy in the safety department and the hot tub wasn't really hot. It was a great place to stay with our kids on our vacation - beautiful views too!

A day at the lake
Stopped by early (~10:30 AM) to check on the facility and then go for a bike ride. They allowed me to use one of their new mountain bikes, came back later and checked in. Troy the new chef cooked us a gourmet dinner and planned on kayaking in the evening but conditions not great. Went out on the lake early morning, had to clean out sanded and gravel from the old sea kayak but it was worth it to get out on first sun and pristine calm water. Service staff very nice. Would have been nice to have the hot tub cleaned and working but still a good experience.

Staff are wonderful.
The inn is a little tired. Gym has 3 pieces of equipment that don't work and are old. Hot tub was not set up. Play toys at water are old. Now the staff and suppers are wonderful! Can't say enough about them. Megan and Laura's meals are to die for. You do pay for any extra meals. No fridge in room, but you could probably use main fridge.
