We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The tasting dinner produced by Giorgio, his mother, and brother was superb. We enjoyed being out in the country among the vinyards and amazing herb gardens. Girogio was an excellent host.

This Trulli Will Not Disappoint
Who wouldn’t be curious about staying in a trulli? The experience at Trulli Il Castagno exceeded our expectations. The location is serene and beautiful. They are part of the agrotourism trend that involves the guests with the farming on the property. We took a wine tour and tasting, paired with antipasti. Giorgio was very informative, and entertaining. The antipasti made by his mother was delicious. We had a very good time getting to know the other guests. The location is excellent for day trips around the Puglia region. It’s only a few kilometers from Martina Franca, Alberobello, and Locorotondo. Do not miss the opportunity to forage from their vegetable and herb gardens. Highly recommended.

Belicismo! Feel like you're part of the family!
Simply fantastic! We loved the dinner and it was so nice to chat with the owners and other guests! The only downside - we didn't have a chance to do the cooking classes they offered. Mom was in the kitchen cooking and I wish I had taken the opportunity to learn how to prepare some of the amazing food that was served.

Peaceful, relaxing unique experience
Hard to find as Expedia don't give enough info, but contact owner direct and they will provide location details. It is different to staying in your average hotel room. Cool temperature wise inside and quite compact. Could do with comfier seating. The owners hosted a great meal one evening which is reasonably priced. The food just kept coming. We enjoyed ourselves along with a couple more sets of guests. Great pool area. Had a good visit to nearby Martina Franca and watched and took part in the evening promenade, which was amazing.

Magnifique Trullo très traditionnel et à la fois parfaitement aménagé, situé dans la vallée d’Itria. Les hôtes sont d’une grande gentillesse et à notre disposition pour toute demande. On recommande vivement !

Wunderschöne mit viel Liebe restaurierte Trullis im Familienbesitz in ruhiger Lage mit Olivenbäumen, Feldern und Weinreben gelegen zwischen Martina Franca und Alberobello. Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Schwimingpool mit Liegen, Sonnenschirmen und Dusche laden zum relaxen ein. Schaukel, Tischtennisplatte, Grillmöglichkeit und Waschmaschine vorhanden. Die Kräuter des Kräutergarten an der Tenne sowie das Gemüse aus dem Gemüsegarten können von den Gästen genutzt werden. Wein und Olivenöl aus Eigenherstellung können gekostet und gekauft werden. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Tolle Anlage in traumhafter Umgebung
Auf einer kleinen Anhöhe mit tollem Blick in die Umgebung gelegen ist diese kleine FeWo-Anlage. Dazu kommt ein schön angelegter und sauberer Pool und eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberfamilie. Il Castagno liegt ideal für eine Besichtigung der Städte Alberobello, Locorotondo und Martina Franca (jeweils ca. 10 KM). Selbst nach Ostuni ist es nicht weit!. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist in 1 KM entfernun gerreichbar, für größere Einkäufe die nahen Städte besuchen. Die vielen kleinen Sträßchen durchs Itria-Tal haben Feldwegcharakter, sind aber Provinzialstraßen. Für Radfahrer eine gute Gegend, teilweise auch beschildert. Die Wohnungen in den Trulli sind sehr geschmackvoll mit Liebe zum Detail gemacht. Zur Grundausstattung der Küche gehören Öl (eigene Produktion), Kaffee und Essig und eine Flasche Wein (eigene produktion). In einem Kuppelbau zu schlafen ist wirklich herrlich!
