This B&B is lovely! It had everything that we needed in the room. The breakfast that is served is amazing. Robin -the inn keeper - is kind and extremely available for suggestions of places to eat or things to do in the area. I highly recommend going for a quiet getaway.

The bedroom and entire house is comfortable, well kept and well located to area activities. Our host was helpful, gracious and made a fantastic breakfast! We had a great trip and would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone!!!

If you are looking for a classic, elegant bed and breakfast, you will love the Claiborne house! The owner is gracious and welcoming, the house is beautifully decorated with antiques and the breakfast is delicious! There are several dining options within walking distance. The setting is lovely, quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend the Claiborne House.

We came to Rocky Mount for a concert at the Harvester theater, and had an excellent time! Our stay at the Claiborne was wonderful. We stayed in the Bluebird room, a second-story corner room with a comfortable king size bed, and private bath. Even though the house was full, things were quiet. Breakfast, each of the two mornings was excellent, French toast casserole, and egg and sausage quiche with fresh orange juice, and coffee along with any flavored syrup, like vanilla or hazelnut. And Robin, the innkeeper, was a delight, and provided everything we needed. We hope to come back and stay there again!

This Bed and Breakfast is the most charming and delightful of its kind. If you're looking for a nice quiet break with an AWESOME view there is none better! The Harvester music venue and Farmer's Market are, both, within walking distance. Just spending a weekend in this delightful small town with all its gathering spots and unique shops is worth the trip especially if your stay includes the Claiborne House.

Fantastic weekend!
This was a wonderful place for a romantic weekend getaway. The house is amazing and our room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Our hostess Amy was friendly and accommodating. And we could walk to everything we wanted to do, including a music venue (Harvester), distillery, brewery, and awesome restaurant (Anastasia's). We enjoyed it all and are hoping to come back soon!!

A fun and comfortable stay. Convenient too, we walked up the hill to eat and down the hill for a great show at the Harvester Theater. Lovely bed in a big room were highlights, as was the visit from a sweet calico.

Very well kept and decorated vintage home. Very comfortable. Walking distance to the Harvester Performing Arts Center. House Cat greeted us and even came in our room for a catnap-nice addition. Breakfast was outstanding.
