The property is in a residential area. Big gate and on the post , a small signage of the hotel’s name. We spoke to someone on the intercom at the gate, the gate then opens. The property has a rustic charm. Some reviews we’ve read mentioned that the property needs renovation or updates. We think they don’t, it’s part of the charm (for us anyway, who are just visiting Italy). We only stayed for one night so didn’t get to use their swimming pool but it looks okay and romantic in the evening. Room was clean. The free breakfast consisted of breads, 1 type of cold cuts, 1 type of cheese, preserves and drinks -juices, coffee,tea. Within walking distance from the hotel is Coop grocery, Deli Shop and a restaurant. There could be more but we didn’t walk further. We enjoyed our short stay.

Only very basic. Kettle and two hobs. No toaster or oven. Only knives and forks no sharp knives or salt and pepper or oil. Only saw the host when they gave us the keys no other communication at all regarding check out or facilities etc.

Quiet private clean rural environment only 2 blocks from restaurants, market, ATM. Amazing property with plants, sculptures, animals. Secure free parking.

The property consists of small and clean traditional style apartments, some with tiny kitchen facilities, set in a beautiful botanical garden where peacocks roam around. There is a lovely swimming pool and sun beds. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is traditional with fresh bread, eggs, cooked meat and always a delicious newly baked sponge cake. The area is interesting to explore with Mt Etna close by, and beautiful places such as Taormina and Syracuse to visit. This was our second visit and it won’t be our last.

Absolutely beautiful property with very friendly staff. Driving up to the gates, you would have no idea what lies beyond them. The room was built into a somewhat ancient Palmento - very cool! Facilities were good, AC worked well. The owner of the property was incredibly friendly and chatted with my wife and I for a while over a bottle of his homemade wine. I would recommend Etna Botanic Garden to any and all looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, especially if you're into things with a little character and charm.

Un havre de sérénité
Jouxtant l'Eglise Ste Trinité, dans cette bourgade au pied de l'Etna, les quelques hébergements disséminés dans le beau jardin ont une âme. Bons équipements (réfrigérateur, vaisselles, bbc....) Très belle piscine, très ombragée. Les personnels sont prévenants et monsieur excellent pâtissier ! Excellent rapport qualité/prix

Traumhaft in einem botanischen Garten mit viel Kunst an allen Ecken und Enden. Wir hatten eines der Häuschen am unteren Rand und waren begeistert! Auch das Frühstück war spitze!
