This detached lodge sits perfectly by the side of a pretty lake and boasts a characterful interior which accentuates the rustic the rustic location, and is ideal for a couple and a furry friend seeking a quiet hideaway. There are two off road parking spaces where you can unload your bags with ease, as you absorb the tranquil setting. Enter into the lovely open plan living space where you can unwind on the plush sofa and enjoy a movie night with your loved one, courtesy of the TV. There is a compact kitchen/dining area with doors leading out to the patio area. When sleep calls, a king size bed awaits with matching furniture to house your belongings, and you can enjoy the peaceful setting, television free. The courtyard patio offers alternative dining arrangements when the weather is warm and where you can soak in the sun on the outdoor furniture and enjoy dining al fresco, whilst watching the wildlife over the nearby lake.

Directly from the property you can enjoy stunning country walks in many different directions, including an ever popular hike up to the Lumsdale Falls making this the ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors. Bring your bikes and enjoy the off road cycling tracks for those who like exploring on two wheels.

Matlock Bath is a well known resort on the River Derwent. Visit the popular Heights of Abraham cable cars, enjoy fish and chips, and numerous entertainments throughout the year. The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn bringing in the crowds and lighting up the sky. A little further afield, Chatsworth House and Bakewell provide a wonderful day out, exploring the local businesses that line the streets. The location and property really are second to none and the perfect place for a break at any time of the year.
