In my limited experience, this is the best hostel I've stayed in. Like what one of the guests said, it has everything that will make any traveler's stay very comfortable. The owner runs the place himself and is very accommodating.

This is one of my favorite hostels I have ever been to. I felt very comfortable hanging out in the common area and the other guests and host were so nice. I definitely want to come back and stay for more than one night. If you are in Matsumoto I highly recommend this location.

Best hostel in Japan!
Excellent hostel in best location. The bedding is superbly comfortable, and the 4-bed family room with sleeping platforms was spacious and quiet. The showers are large. The kitchen is very well appointed, with a range of appliances as well as complimentary tea and real coffee. First rate hospitality from the host. I absolutely recommend this hostel.

Exceptionnel séjour
Magnifique auberge proche du château, joliment décorée et avec tout le nécessaire pour se faire à manger. Le propriétaire était très chaleureux et serviable. La chambre était propre et les lits confortables. Des vélos sont disponibles gratuitement et c'est pratique pour silloner les environs. On y retournera sans hésitations lors d'un prochain voyage !
