Treehouse Experience with Playland Old Hickory +285 acre of trail

We have three treehouses strategically placed to give you privacy and that are close enough that you can rent out all three.

What makes the Aliyah unique is that the snuggle palace is 30 feet high and is our tallest treehouse. It’s great for when you’re a family that likes to spread out. In the main cabin is a full size bed and across the swinging bridge is a bunk bed with a twin & full size bed. Separated sleeping quarters. (VRBO number 1234343)

The hickory is unique in that it has a play ground, consisting of a slide, a swing and two hammocks. It has a cozy nook with lots of games. This treehouse is best for two adults and 4 kids that want to be in the same room at bed time.

The Pete is unique and has a wood burning stove. It has the biggest floor plan with lots of open space with an over sized loft with a king size bed. Best suited for Pete Nelson treehouse lovers & a couple with two small kids. (VRBO number 767630)

A True treehouse play ground nestled in the branches of 4 trees with magical escapes. Sleeps 2 adults and 4 kids. It has a wrap around deck. A master bedroom for privacy, a double loft separated by bridge with queen size and twin.

A Cozy Nook with lots of games. A living space comfy couch and full kitchenette. There are plenty of windows for natural lighting. A slide off the deck takes you to swings, a rock wall and to your own hillside with private entrance to 285 acres of trails, and picnic table along the creek. There are 3 ponds for fishing.

You won't be disappointed. Just imagine your childhood treehouse all grown up!

Tucked in its own hillside venture around back to beautiful view of Kentucky hillside. Take a slide to underneath to, enjoy swing, slide, kid's zipline, fire pit. Trails start right below your treehouse to your creek crossing

Inside walk into unique artistic bar that contains everything you need for full meal for 6. Relax on comfy couch. Take step ladder up to double loft.
Take your pic from queen or twin separated by mini bridge.
Downstairs is private bedroom nook that can also act as daybed.

Explore the 285 acres of rolling trails that lead to creeks, three person hammock, and miniature hobbit treehouses to find!

OUR NEWEST adventure is the, “hobbit tree house trail.” Here you can find yourself immersed in exploring the land looking for the 10 hobbit houses! Don’t stop there! Make your way to the end of the trail to make a wish in the creek. It is located by the oldest tree on the property.

But wait there is MORE! We now have a “cabana tree pod village,” so that you can lay in the trees and really enjoy the scenery. Hike your way to the village and climb into the tree pod. Kids love to play the “drums” on the floor of the pod. As for the adults, this is the perfect little secret hide-out to escape and completely immerse themselves into nature.

At night, set the mood by starting a warm bonfire that lights up the whole place! You can buy a bundle of wood for $50.00 or bring your own.

Check in to treehouse and or property is 4PM. Early check ins to property or tree house can be pre-arranged for $50.00 organization/expedite fee or we recommend booking two nights to fully take advantage of all the property has to offer.

The five tree grove is available to you to book a guided tree climb. Here, our professional facilitator will take you to the top for the best views! You can learn all the tree tricks, including coming down, upside down. Or you can always just hang out in the GIANT green net!

There is a full bath house with a shower, toilet and sink as you come into the property marked BATHHOUSE. It is located up the hill by the farm house, about a football field away from the tree house. For quick trips to the bathroom, the outhouse is 30 feet outside of the tree house. They are clean, organized and efficient!

Local tips and our favorite is to visit Augusta ky. George Clooney home ground. Eat at the beehive on the river and take a ferry across to Ripley Ohio and have an ice cream at the old fashion ice cream shop.
